P1 Group completed the mechanical construction for the University of Kansas Hospital Indian Creek Campus Expansion.
The overall footprint of the project was relatively small for the amount of utilities (pipe, duct, etc.) that had to be installed above the ceiling. This was a challenging task, but the detailers in P1 Group鈥檚 Virtual Design 天美直播 department and the various trades onsite successfully ensured all systems fit.
The expansion tripled the size of the previous facility, and included: Two new split barrel chillers; two new high pressure steam boilers; three new AHU鈥檚 and one new RTU; New medical vacuum pump and new medical air compressor; 34 private patient rooms; 24 clinic exam rooms; 8 operating rooms; a 24-bed prep/recovery area; expanded imaging, breast imaging, and interventional radiology.
